Tyler Bell takes over the men's wrestling program as they move into the Tyler Phipps Wrestling Center. Bell was a volunteer assistant for the men's team in 2022 and then was promoted to Head Assistant Coach for the men's team in 2023 while also assisting with the women's program.

"Tyler has done a tremendous job since coming back to coach at York. He is energetic and wants the best for his athletes. He pushes them hard and expects them to represent themselves and the school with class and a winning mindset," said Garrett Schwarz, Director of Athletics.

"I'm excited to lead this program that helped shape who I was as a college athlete. I learned a lot as a student at York and know I can share some of that knowledge with these guys today. I'm excited to push these guys on the mat and make them winners. I also expect them to get the job done in the classroom and on campus," said Bell.

Bell has been recruiting hard this summer and currently has 20  Recruits planning to enroll at York in August.
