BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The York University men's wrestling team competed at the NAIA Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday.
The Panthers were guided by
Caleb Davis' fourth-place finish in the 174-lb. class. He opened the tournament with a resounding 10-1 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan's Braxton Bacon. However, he lost a 2-0 decision to Michael Ager. Davis lost via pin fall in 1:39.
Travis Reidy dropped a pair of matches on Saturday in the 125-lb. division. He opened with a loss to Braydon Pacheco before dropping a contest to Jake Stanton. Both matches were via falls.
In the 133-lb. class,
Hector Holguin opened against Roman De La Cruz. He lost via pin fall. Holguin also fell to Zeke Wheeler.
