YORK, Neb. – The York University men's wrestling team lost a 53-0 decision to No. 18 Saint Mary Sunday afternoon in the first dual match of the season.

Shawn Contos' team did not have a student-athlete competing in every class.
Travis Reidy got the start in the 125-lb. division. He dropped the match by a technical fall 15-0 score to Brody Gee.
Hector Holguin competed at the 133-lb. division, falling 19-5 to Roman De La Cruz.
Elijah Kaawa put forth a solid effort in the 149-lb. class against Ryan Buccat, but he lost a 4-0 decision.
Jamie Watts competed in the 165-lb. division against Graham Kilpper. Saint Mary's took the contest via technical fall 15-0.
Caleb Davis took on Michael Ager in the 174-lb. class while
Blake Mingle competed against Orinn Hubbard in the 18-4lb. division. However, both fell via pin falls.
