YORK, Neb. – The York University men's wrestling team cruised to a decisive 50-3 victory over Hastings Thursday evening.

Ernest Grant (125-lb.) starting things off with an emphatic win via fall in 2:01 for the home team. His win propelled York to a 6-0 lead.
Leading 6-3 after the second match, the Panthers did not lose again.
Cade Wathke notched a win via fall in 1:06 in the 141-lb. division while
Brayden Smith's victory in the 149-lb. class was nearly as fast. Smith won with a pin fall in 1:17.
Johnathon Vincent posted a hard-fought 14-11 win in the 157-lb. division, giving the Panthers a 21-3 edge.
Kade Wersland needed just 1:53 for his pin fall victory in the 165-lb. slot.
Caleb Davis, competing in the 174-lb. division, notched a technical fall victory by a score of 15-0 in just 1:57.
Cameron Campos (184-lb. class) and
Tanner Hawkins (197-lb. division) accounted for wins via pin falls. Campos won in4:42 while Hawkins garnered the win in just 57 seconds.
Marce Vasquez tallied a forfeit win in the 285-lb. class for the resounding 47-point team win.
The Panthers return to action Saturday when they compete at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College at 9 a.m.
