KEARNEY, Neb. – The York University men's track and field team put forth a solid effort at the UNK Last Chance Meet.
The Panthers were led by
Anthony Hodson's first-place finish in the 600-yard event. He crossed the finish line in 1:17.2 while teammate
Jaden Beske was fourth after posting a time of 1:23.5.
In the 60m hurdles, Andrew Heinirchs crossed the finish line in 8.7, which was good enough for second place.
Jordan North also earned a silver medal. In the 200m, Norton registered a time of 23.89, which was good enough for second place.
Alphonse Jackson earned a third-place effort and tallied a fourth-place mark in two events. He was third in the shot put (14.66m) while placing fourth in the weight throw (16.38m).
The Panthers finish their indoor season with today's meet. They will be back in action for the outdoor season in a couple of weeks.
