York had a tough opening down in Kansas City, Mo. as they competed in a couple of games at the Urban Youth Academy fields. In game one they fell to Missouri Baptist 2-1. The second game they had a tougher time as Columbia scored 10 runs in the third inning to propel them to a 15-9 win.

Game One Highlights
York's Treyton Scully went six and one-third innings but allowed a run in the bottom of the seventh as the Panthers lost in heartbreaking fashion. York scored in the opening inning but then wasn't able to score in the final seven.

Missouri Baptist won with a walk-off single to take the 2-1 win.

Game Two Highlights
After scoring again in the first inning the Panthers found themselves behind 13-1 going into the fifth inning. York's bats came alive and scored eight runs over the final three innings, but hte damage was done as the Panthers fell 15-9. York's Alejandro Loera led the offense as he picked up 3 RBIs in the game. The Panthers used six pitchers in the contest and Jacob Klein picked up the loss.
