A last-minute adjustment to the schedule was just what the Panthers needed. After scrapping the two-day tournament in McPherson, Kansas due to rain, the Panthers hosted their own single-day tournament and won both of their games. York defeated the Saints of Presentation 9-4, followed by an exciting extra-inning 5-4 win over College of St. Mary.

Game One Highlights
York opened up a 5-4 game with a four-run sixth inning to give the insurance runs going into the final inning. The Panthers picked up five of their 13 hits in the sixth inning alone. 

Game Two Highlights
York scored eight runs in the fourth inning to go up 8-4 on the Flames. After allowing the Flames to answer with four runs in the next two innings the teams were forced into extra innings. York got themselves out of the top of the 8th inning without letting the runner from second base score. In the bottom half Breanna Underwood started off on second and Breianna Cortez advanced her to third. Kiana Villarreal ripped a shot right at the shortstop for the second out. The shortstop threw over to third to try to beat Underwood diving back, but in doing so threw the ball in the dugout for the automatic advance for Underwood across home plate.
