Box Score YORK - Jesus Licon hit a two-run home run and Chris Manibusan hit a sacrifice fly to put the Panthers on the board in the fourth inning. Those three runs helped propel the Panthers to a 4-3 win on Friday afternoon. The Friends University Falcons tied the game in the top of the seventh, but a bases-loaded hit by pitch to Austin Eisenmenger scored Luke Juarez from third for the eventual game-winner.
Treyton Scully went eight strong innings allowing just two earned runs in the win. Ian Heck came in to relieve Scully in the ninth and picked up the save.
York was outhit on the day 8-6, but it was the long ball of Licon that was the difference-maker.
Blake Hernandez was also strong from the plate as he finished 2-for-4. Scully struck out five batters on the mound, allowing just seven hits on the day.
