Sterling, KAN. - York College bounced back in game two to win 9-6 after falling in game one 10-2. The second game was highlighted with a three-run home run by Sofia Perez in the fourth inning. York tacked on four more runs in the fifth to take a 9-2 lead. The Sterling College Warriors added four runs, but still fell short in the game 9-6.

York pounded out 10 hits in the contest but stranded eight runners. Breanna Underwood scored both runs for the Panthers.

Game Two highlights
Sofia Perez hit a three-run home run to put the Panthers up 5-2. She had four RBIs on the game. Kiana Villareal was the only other Panther to record multiple hits as she finished 2-for-4. Natalie Luna earned two free bases as she went 0-for-1 with a run scored. Briana Walter picked up a complete-game win.
