Game Highlights 

York had their bats come alive in the fifth inning to lead them to an 8-5 victory in a conference matchup against the Bethany Swedes. In the single 9-inning game at home York was down early, 4-1 after the second inning, but was able to get their bats going scoring four runs in the fifth inning and another three runs in the seventh. 

Secudino Morales got things started when his three-run home run tied the game at four. Charlie Konstantino gave the Panthers the lead on the following pitch as he sent it over the left-field fence for the 5-4 lead. Trevor Peterson added a pinch-hit home run in the seventh for the insurance runs.

York's Thomas Fogle started off a little slow allowing four runs on five hits in the first inning. He finished strong allowing three hits over the final seven and one-third innings. He struck out three as he picked up the win. Ian Heck came in for the save.

The Panthers will face the University of St. Mary in a three-game series this coming weekend. Currently the games are slotted for a doubleheader on Saturday with a noon start. Sunday's single game is slated for 1:00 p.m.
