York had a tough day facing the number two team in the KCAC, the Friends Falcons. The Panthers fell in both games in five innings 14-1 and 25-3. The Panthers couldn't get their bats going in either game, putting up just six hits between the two games. Friends on the other hand came out swinging with a combined twenty-seven hits between the two games. York plays again Saturday in Leavenworth, KS against the University of Saint Mary.

Game One:
In a tough 14-1 loss the Panthers could not get a hold of the Falcons pitcher. York had only one hit by Haylea Thomas, which was a home run in the fourth inning. York drew three walks in the game but left four runners on base. Paige Chapman also had a stolen base. Bailey Hardey got the start throwing 1.2 innings allowing ten hits, ten earned runs, and three home runs. Malia Alvarez threw 3.1 innings allowing four hits, four earned runs, one home run, and striking out five.

Game Two:
Much like game one Friends came out swinging leading to a 7-0 lead after the first inning. York was able to piece together a few more hits in game two one of which was a home run by Kennedie Anderson. Morgan Peterson, Lauren Chapman, and Kennedie Anderson each had an RBI in the loss. Breanna Underwood also had a stolen base. Kaitlyn Roe got the loss allowing four hits, seven runs, seven earned runs, and two home runs. Faith Torstensen threw for 2.2 innings allowing nine hits, eleven runs, eleven earned runs, and three home runs. Lauren Chapman threw for 2.1 innings allowing ten hits, seven runs, five earned runs, and two home runs.
