WINFIELD, Kan. – The York University men's cross country team put forth a good effort at the Southwestern College Mid-States Classic Saturday.
Head coach
Justin Carver's team was led by
Drew Lugafet's time of 30:51.4 in the 8k event. He recorded a 26
th-place effort. Right behind him was teammate
Trenton Orlando, who posted a mark of 32:04.3 for 27
th place.
Without enough student-athletes competing, the squad did not register a team score.
Oklahoma City won the meet while Bethel and Bethany were second and third, respectively.
The Panthers return to action Saturday, Nov. 9 at the KCAC Championships.
