PARK CITY, Kan. – The York University women's wrestling team was represented by
Jill High at the NAIA National Championships on Friday.
High, a freshman from Douglass, Kan., squared off against fourth-seeded Jasmina Immaeva of Missouri Valley in the 24-lb. class.
High secured four points in the match, but Immaeva managed to pick up the 15-4 technical fall victory.
After receiving a bye in the consolation bracket opening round, she squared off against Peyton Hand of Ottawa. Hand managed to pick up the victory with a pin in 1:38.
