HESSTON, Kan. – The York University men's golf team finished ninth at the Heston GC Spring Shootout, which wrapped up Tuesday.
The Panthers shot 165-over par, 1017, at the 54-hole event.
Bethany and Baker tied for first after shooting 49-over par, 901. Tabor took third while Ottawa and Oklahoma Panhandle were fourth and fifth, respectively.
Francisco Carvalho Gouveia led the way after posting a score of 28-over par. His best round was the second one on Monday, shooting even par.
Aaron Bartak and
Ashton Johnson tied for 45
th after shooting 43-over par,
Tanner Simmerman tied for 51
st after shooting 53-over par.
Malachi Meador registered a 56
th-place finish. He posted a score of 64-over par.
The Panthers return to action Apr. 7-8 at the DWU Spring Invite in Mitchell, S.D.
