Francisco Carvalho Gouveia claimed the individual title at the York University Fall Invite.
Gouveia's effort guided the Panthers' golf team to a second-place finish.
The Panthers were led by Gouveia's 13-over par, 223. For the tournament, he accounted for eight birdies and an eagle. Gouveia posted scores of 72-76-75.
CCC Columbus won the tournament by three strokes at 85-over par, 645, for the competition. The Panthers finished at 88-over par, 648.
Tanner Simmerman finished ninth after posting a score of 41-over par, 251.
Malachi Meador was just behind him, earning a 10
th-place finish. Meador registered a score of 46-over par, 256.
Aiden Espinoza claimed 12
th place (+53, 263) while
Aaron Bartak was 15
th with a score of 55-over par, 265.
Cash Dicketts and
Christian Flint participated as individuals. Dicketts was 16
th, finishing a stroke back of Bartak at 266. Flint accounted for a 17
th-place finish at 270.
The Panthers return to action Oct. 13-14 in an event hosted by Friends University.
