CRETE, Neb. – The York University women's track and field team put forth a solid performance at the Jim Dutcher Classic, which wrapped up Friday.
Cierra Dringman accounted for a silver medal in the 400m hurdles after finishing in 1:08.48.
Kamrie Dillan garnered a fourth-place effort in the 200m, wrapping up the event in a time of 26.47.
Lauren Tucker earned a 10
th-place finish in the event at 30.07.
Dillan accounted for a seventh-place finish in the 100m, clocking 12.95.
Morgan Dinkler narrowly missed out on a top-10 finish, taking 13
th in the 400m after crossing in 1:12.47.
The 800m event saw
Jadon Hess and Megan Dehart take top-15 finishes. Hess recorded a time of 2:38.63 for 12
th place while Dehart was 14
th at 3:02.81.
In the field events, Dringman took sixth in the pole vault after clearing 2.90m.
Candice Jones accounted for a ninth-place effort in the shot put after recording a mark of 12.22m.
Elizabeth Zaiger was 14
th after securing a mark of 11.35m.
Jones registered a 13
th-place effort in the discus with a mark of 34.28.
Ascha Utter was 19
th with an effort of 32.24m.
Delanie Namuth (29.12m) was 22
nd while
Alexis Gibbons (26.88m – 25
th) and Allie Parker (25.35m – 26
th) posted solid efforts.
Abby Schopper posted an 11
th-place effort in the heptathlon with 3,353 points.
The Hammer throw saw Jones take 11
th with a mark of 41.96m. Zaiger was 14
th (41.51m) while Utter took 18
th (38.27m). Namuth was 24
th with a mark of 36.92m while Parker (35.72m) was 28
th and Gibbons was 32
nd (34.11m).
In the javelin,
Alana Barron snagged 13
th place with a mark of 31.33m while
Felicity Johnson was 15
th with an effort of 30.19m.
